Commands Tab

< General Tab

The custom commands for a form are usually used when your form is a Filter or an Object Form or a Tab, but there are other cases when you can use custom commands as well.

All the columns must be completed. In the Command column, you have to write the exact name of your command; this name is usually WhatTheButtonDoesCommand. This exact name will be used in your ViewModel. In the Code and Description columns you need to write the name you wish your button to have; this will be an entry from the Dictionary. The Nature of the command is Standard. In the Right Code column, you have to write the rights you are giving the user when he presses the button; you could simply write ToBeDefined if you are not sure of the rights the user has.

To validate a command, in order to save it, you need to click on another row or on a column. The row will be saved automatically. In order to be able to use the created command, it may be necessary to close the Forms window and open it again; or change the Area and Module and then go back to your created form.
