#1 Accelerators

The Accelerators o Keyboard shortcuts are used as an alternative to the use of the mouse through buttons of the forms ribbon bar.

Within the Accelerators form it is possible to indicate which keyboard shortcuts can be used in the ribbon bar.

The Accelerators are described in a grid together with the following columns:

Accelerators Properties

Function	Meaning
Name	Accelerator name.
Keyboard Shortcut	Combination of buttons, associated to the accelerator.
Nature	Accelerator nature: Standard by default or Partner, in case in which it is created by partner users; Customer, in case of Accelerator created by the Customer user. The standard Accelerator cannot be edited. The partner user can edit the Accelerator both of partner and of customer nature. It is possible to insert the Accelerator with the same Name but with different keyboard Shortcut and nature. In this case the Accelerator with customer nature will have the priority compared to the Accelerator Partner, which will have the priority compared to the Accelerator Standard.

For each accelerator the user has the possibility to specify the exceptions according to the language used in the application.

For this reason and in presence of an exception with language in use, the specific keyboard shortcut will be used in place of the default keyboard shortcut.

Such exceptions are indicated per Accelerator in a grid, that is located within row details of accelerators list. The available properties are:

Accelerators Properties

Function	Meaning
Language	Drop-down selection, where it is possible to specify the language for the exception.
Keyboard shortcut	String with the buttons combination for the exception.
